Job Title: Advanced Analytics Lead

Description:

The Senior Data Scientist will spearhead data-driven initiatives, developing innovative analytics solutions and contributing to the company's strategic direction through evidence-based decision-making.

You will collaborate with various teams including marketing, sales, legal, and operations, leveraging data to uncover opportunities and drive meaningful outcomes.

  • Analyse large datasets using statistical methods and machine learning techniques to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Design and deploy predictive models to forecast key business metrics such as sales performance, customer behaviour, and supply chain activity.
  • Translate complex findings into accessible insights through data visualisation and storytelling, tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders to support strategic planning and business decisions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver and embed data solutions within business processes.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to building a strong, collaborative data culture.
  • Stay current with emerging tools, techniques, and technologies in data science and advanced analytics.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong blend of software engineering and statistical expertise, with end-to-end delivery capability.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining data models.
  • Proficiency in Python or R, and familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A self-starter who is comfortable working autonomously in a project-based, fast-paced setting.
