Senior Cafe Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated cafe professional to join our team at Obelisk Cafe.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the day-to-day operation of the café
  • Preparing high-quality food and beverages
  • Maintaining exceptional standards of customer service, food presentation, and cleanliness
  • Ensuring adherence to hygiene, food control plan, and cleaning standards
  • Coordinating stock levels, inventory management, and supply chain logistics
  • Enhancing the overall visual appeal of the café, including menu boards, displays, and adjacent areas
  • Cleaning equipment, maintaining dishwashing area hygiene, and performing other duties as requested by management

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on empathy and communication
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse situations
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a focus on supporting colleagues and driving business success
  • Previous experience in a cafe or barista role, with a proven track record of delivering results
