Senior Accountant Job Opportunity

We're looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for those who are ambitious, technically strong, and ready to take on more responsibility.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end client engagements across a diverse portfolio. You'll deliver high-quality compliance and advisory outcomes, support and review junior staff, and work closely with Partners on more complex matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Manage client assignments from planning through to completion.
  • Advise on advanced tax matters including Division 7A, capital gains tax, trust streaming, and loss utilisation.
  • Provide tailored tax planning strategies for small to medium-sized enterprises and investment groups.
  • Liaise directly with clients, the Australian Taxation Office, and regulators.
  • Review work of junior/intermediate staff and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain up-to-date tax knowledge while meeting productivity and billing key performance indicators.
Requirements:
  • CA or CPA qualified.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in Australian public practice.
  • Strong technical expertise across multiple entity types and industries.
  • Ability to deliver accurate, client-ready work with minimal revisions.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills.
  • Ambition to progress into leadership roles.
