Job Title: Security Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Security Team Lead to lead our high-performing teams in security engineering. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience managing and developing teams, with hands-on experience in information security technologies such as continuous monitoring, anti-malware controls, intrusion detection/prevention, access control & CSIRT-focused systems.

The role involves managing a team responsible for detecting, analyzing and responding to information security threats across various environments. Key responsibilities include leading the Security Operations node, ensuring timely response to threats, executing processes, measuring metrics and improving efficiency. The team will also be responsible for creating a positive work environment, providing a goal-driven framework for success, and owning all facets of performance, hiring and career management.

About the Role:

- Strong information security risk-based prioritization abilities

- Excellent written communication skills

- Meets/exceeds Amazon leadership principles requirements

A day in the life includes driving 'Tier 1' and 'Tier 2' issues to resolution across service teams, handling disparate tasks including small-project and software development work.
