Software Architect

Role Summary

Morse Micro is pioneering wireless connectivity with next-generation Wi-Fi HaLow technology.

You will join a firmware team implementing an IoT software stack for embedded devices, collaborating closely with Analog, Systems, and Digital IC design engineers to develop and maintain a sophisticated embedded software architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network protocol development, integration, and debugging
  • Implementation of upper layers of the 802.11ah standard in firmware
  • Optimisation for performance, footprint, and power consumption
  • Creation of elegant Python scripts to facilitate testing and other tasks
Essential Skills
  • BSc in Electrical / Electronics / Communication Engineering or Computer Science
  • 8+ years relevant industry experience in embedded software projects
  • Proven expertise in Firmware development using C programming language
  • Experience in porting and using FreeRTOS or RT-Thread Real Time Operating Systems
  • Experience with ARM Cortex and RISC-V instruction sets and architectures
