Key Insurance Broker Role

We are seeking an experienced insurance broker to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our commercial risk placement team, you will be responsible for supporting the placement of complex commercial risks across property and liability lines.


Job Description:

The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and market partners to structure bespoke insurance programs. Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and negotiating placement submissions
  • Coordinating with brokers and underwriters across multiple markets
  • Managing documentation and compliance requirements
  • Conducting market research to inform placement strategy
  • Attending meetings and contributing to client engagement

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3-5 years' experience in insurance broking, underwriting, or placement
  • Familiarity with commercial property or liability products
  • Tier 1 broking qualification (or Tier 2 with pathway to Tier 1)
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Professional maturity and a proactive approach
