Job Role

As a Tax Expert, you will play a crucial role in supporting tax affairs for entities in the region and their network of global branches and subsidiaries.

This position is responsible for assisting with preparation of all tax compliance obligations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, and assisting with transfer pricing/BEPS/Pillar 2 requests and information analysis.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain effective relationships and ensure efficient delivery of outputs.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and a track record of achievement in a similar role within a corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with preparation of all tax compliance obligations for entities in the region.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting, including assistance with preparation of provisions as well as year-end requirements.
  • Assist with transfer pricing/BEPS/Pillar 2 requests and information analysis.
  • Monitor and adhere to policies, procedures, systems, and controls for processes.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in a similar role within a corporate environment.
  • Growing knowledge of organisation's taxes and tax accounting procedures.
  • Understanding of spreadsheets, data analysis, and reconciliation procedures.
  • Deal appropriately with confidential/sensitive information.
  • Establish strong business relationships within a group environment and beyond to ensure efficient delivery of outputs.
  • Produce quality outcomes within an environment with competing demands and tight deadlines.
  • Able to undertake some travel (domestic or international).
