
Cyber Security Data Specialist

Cyber incident records management is a critical function in maintaining the integrity of an organization's digital assets. As a specialist in this field, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of cyber incident records.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple workflows simultaneously. Excellent communication skills are also essential, as you will be required to engage with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.

Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance will be considered for this position. To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience with data evaluation, entry, analysis, and validation.
- Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) and working with databases and Atlassian platforms like Confluence or JIRA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Training or experience in cyber security analysis or incident response is highly desirable.
As a Cyber Incident Records Management Officer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of cyber incidents.
- Coordinating with stakeholders to gather information and ensure the completeness of records.
- Providing data analysis and insights to support decision-making within the organization.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of record-keeping processes.
This 12-month contract offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in an organization's cybersecurity posture. RequirementsTo be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
- Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role or related field.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Be able to obtain a Baseline security clearance.
