Telehealth Medicinal Cannabis Professional

We are seeking a skilled and experienced healthcare professional to lead our telehealth team in providing compassionate and innovative solutions for patient care.
The successful candidate will oversee escalated clinical cases, provide guidance on complex patient scenarios, and act as a point of clinical guidance for new practitioners.
About the Role- Support Escalated Clinical Cases: Provide oversight and guidance on complex patient scenarios referred by other clinicians.
- Script Amendments: Action urgent prescription amendments, ensuring timely and compliant care.
- Clinical Governance: Monitor and support safe prescribing practices within their team.
- Education & Mentorship: Act as a point of clinical guidance for new practitioners, especially those onboarding into medicinal cannabis prescribing.
Key Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will have prior experience prescribing medicinal cannabis in a tele-health setting, a strong understanding of clinical compliance and patient safety practices, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Requirements- Authorised Prescriber: Must be an authorised prescriber of medicinal cannabis to manage scripts autonomously.
- AHPRA Registration: AHPRA registration and ability to prescribe Schedule 8 medication is required.
- Prior Experience: Prior experience prescribing medicinal cannabis in a tele-health setting is essential.
- Strong Understanding: Strong understanding of clinical compliance and patient safety practices is necessary.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
