About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and care to clients, enabling them to live fulfilling lives and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and care to clients with disabilities, focusing on skill development and enrichment.
  • Engage with clients in creative activities, such as cooking, music, crafts, and leisure sports, to promote social interaction and skill-building.
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support and care for clients.
Requirements
  • Confident and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including afternoons, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Valid Australian Driver's License and Working With Children Check.
  • Full COVID vaccination status.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities (desirable).
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or equivalent (desirable).
