About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment Manager to join our team in the Northern region. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters. Your expertise will help us drive a culture of safety and sustainability across our operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the Safety Management System, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Develop and implement site-specific safety plans, ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage incident investigations and root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees on health, safety, and environmental matters.
• Collaborate with operations teams to implement key strategic elements and drive business growth.
About You
We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Health, Safety and Environment Manager who can lead our team in the Northern region. You will have a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role. You will also have a relevant qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or a related discipline. Your expertise will help us drive a culture of safety and sustainability across our operations.
