Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join our team in the Ore Preparation Area of the Port Kembla Steelworks. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth production of high-quality sinter for the blast furnace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out mechanical fitting tasks in accordance with industry standards and safety procedures.

  • Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Australian Recognised Trade Qualification as a Mechanical Fitter/Machinist.
