Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the technology strategy for Goodman's global website, ensuring it aligns with business and marketing strategies. This role involves collaborating closely with internal Marketing and IT teams, as well as external vendor partners, to create a comprehensive technology strategy and roadmap.

This position requires overseeing the platform's scalability, performance, and availability, as well as managing technical design, architecture, operation, content management (Sitecore), security, performance, integrations, automated testing, disaster recovery, and compliance.

The ideal candidate will serve as the key internal contact for the global marketing and IT teams for all technical issues and escalations.


Responsibilities
  • Platform Development and Strategy: Create and communicate a long-term technology strategy and roadmap for the Goodman website, including 15 regional and country sites, Sitecore platform, and hosting infrastructure, aligning with business needs and digital marketing strategy.
  • Collaborate with development and hosting partners to design a technical architecture that maximises value and aligns with Goodman IT strategy.
  • System Performance / Reliability / Support: Liaise with marketing, development agencies, hosting partners, and other vendors to ensure efficient operation of Goodman website.
  • Oversee and prioritise DevOps boards to address both marketing and technical requests through sprint cycles.
  • Manage key activities for critical platforms, including upgrades, patching, disaster recovery testing, and vulnerability responses.
  • Maintain effective website support model and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Enhance / Innovate / Projects: Assist to review design of new platform architecture solutions to meet business opportunities and challenges.
  • Provide technical expertise on larger infrastructure change projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Natural collaborator: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and marketers. Ability to communicate effectively and foster teamwork with diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen: Communicate complex technical matters to commercial team and interpret commercial needs into technical requirements.
  • Experience with Sitecore: In-depth understanding of Sitecore architecture, including content management and digital marketing capabilities.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in NextJs, Node, .NET, C#, and SQL is essential.
  • CI/CD expertise: Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment using Azure DevOps is a must.
  • Innovative problem solver: Identify issues and implement creative solutions to maintain high service standards.
  • Security focus: Ensure Annual Disaster Recovery and Penetration Tests are performed and remediated where needed.
  • Continuous learner: Stay up to date with latest industry trends.
  • Strategic mindset: Plan and execute long-term goals for platform's growth and innovation.
