Culinary Specialist Opportunity in Aged Care

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Culinary Specialist to join our team at our Inverell Facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking nutritious meals for our elderly residents in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and cook delicious and well-balanced meals for our residents, taking into account their dietary requirements and preferences.
Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, including storage and handling of food, utensils, and equipment.
Develop and maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with other staff members.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary.
Assist with seasonal menu planning and implementation.

About You:
You will have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or aged care setting.
Proven experience as a Culinary Specialist in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is essential.
Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, as well as good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team, are also required.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure, with a high level of attention to detail and quality.
