Immunopathology Research Position

The Immunopathology Research Scientist is a highly skilled professional responsible for performing and interpreting advanced immunological assays, including indirect immunofluorescence, ELISA, chemiluminescence, protein electrophoresis, and immunoblotting. They must have experience in troubleshooting assay issues and verifying the accuracy of immunopathology results.

They are also expected to review external quality assessment reports and possess prior experience with laboratory accreditation assessments.

This role requires a successful candidate to have demonstrated leadership skills in supervising and training teams within Immunopathology.

This is a full-time permanent position requiring the ability to work regular hours Monday to Friday with participation in out-of-hours rosters and overtime as required.

  • Experience with performing, interpreting and troubleshooting immunoassays (indirect immunofluorescence, ELISA, chemiluminescence, protein electrophoresis, immunoblot).
  • Interpreting and verifying immunopathology results and reviewing QA reports.
  • Prior experience with laboratory accreditation assessments.
  • Demonstrated experience in team supervision and training within Immunopathology (preferred).
  • Eligibility to work in Australia and compliance with CHS policies.
