About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Claims Officer to join our Total Loss Claims Team at RAA Insurance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end total loss claims, including procurement of replacement vehicles and sale of salvage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process claims within established guidelines, efficiently and professionally to achieve fair and equitable settlements.
  • Negotiate settlements for claims within authority limits and procedures.
  • Identify possible fraudulent matters and consult with Management on recommended actions.
  • Process claims payments and associated administration.
  • Achieve set KPIs and quality targets consistently.
About You

You will be a confident and passionate individual with a strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will have a positive can-do attitude and team ethos, with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Motor or similar claims experience is preferred.
  • Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of the General Insurance Code of Practice.
  • Ability to work in a high-performing culture and contribute to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
