State Construction Manager

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in a senior construction management role, preferably within insurance repairs and refurbishments.

  • Lead and manage state-wide construction operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Oversee a diverse portfolio with a strong focus on insurance repair works and refurbishments.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to project managers, supervisors, and site teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, clients, and key stakeholders to ensure service excellence and repeat business.
  • Monitor project performance, budgets, and resources to drive efficiency, profitability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, insurer requirements, WHS regulations, and internal quality systems.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a senior construction management role.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Solid understanding of construction methodologies and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management systems, reporting tools, and modern project delivery technologies.
