Key Role in Delivering Energy

The Training Program Lead plays a crucial role in delivering safe, reliable, and sustainable energy to millions of Australians. This individual oversees training for our Transmission Lines workforce, ensuring programs are compliant with national standards, technically accurate, and aligned with the needs of a workforce that plays a critical role in Australia's energy future.

This is an opportunity to directly influence how our lines workforce is prepared for the future through embedding capability, safety, and professionalism into a team that literally keeps the power flowing across NSW and the ACT.

In this role, you'll design and implement training pathways for lines apprentices and technicians, ensuring compliance with national training requirements and building strong relationships with industry to align training with emerging practices.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must bring extensive experience in transmission line construction and maintenance, along with a strong interest in developing others. You understand the technical and safety demands of the role, and you know how to translate them into structured, practical training.

You will bring:

  • Extensive experience in transmission line work in the electricity sector.
  • Certificate III ESI – Transmission Overhead and Certificate IV TAE.
  • Demonstrated experience in program design and delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and industry partnerships.
