Senior Maintenance Engineer Role Overview

This role is part of a major project supporting operations for a leading energy company. The position will contribute directly to the maintenance and reliability efforts of assets under the client's portfolio.

Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Perth, Western Australia.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing maintenance strategies, aligning with performance standards and regulatory requirements.
  • You will also identify critical spares, manage SPIR and ensure correct levels are held state-wide, to enhance asset reliability.
  • Additionally, you will perform equipment criticality analysis, develop/ update maintenance work instructions, and provide technical support to the team members and project teams.
  • Leadership skills are essential to act as a key point of contact between operational and maintenance teams, promoting open lines of communication regarding safety, production, cost, and improvement ideas.

Requirements:

  • A recognized engineering degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation & Control or equivalent.
  • Proven background working in EPC or engineering consultancy environments.
  • Eligible for membership with Engineers Australia.
  • Substantial experience in Maintenance Engineering in Oil & Gas or similar industry experience.
  • Extensive experience with SAP, FMECA, RCA, and RCM.
  • Knowledge in process safety, AU, and International Standards.
  • Experience in Data Management, Maintenance Strategy, and Master Data Create/Update in maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Extensive years of experience in Maintenance strategy/Ops readiness/Maintenance & Reliability Engineering.
