Medical Support Professional
">This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Medical Support Professional to join our team. As the primary point of contact, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, doctors, and allied health providers.
">The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the medical field. They must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.
">We are seeking someone with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience with Best Practice Software and Microsoft Office is beneficial. The successful applicant will be appointed as a part-time employee working a minimum of 20 hours per week, with opportunities to increase with weekend work and cover as required.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Greet patients warmly and provide a positive first impression.
">- Handle a high volume of patient phone calls and respond to enquiries efficiently.
">- Manage the switchboard, ensuring all calls are directed promptly and professionally.
">- Book appointments and enter patient data accurately and in a timely manner.
">- Generate invoices and receive payments, as well as process Medicare Claims.
">- Maintain doctors' bookings and schedules, and ensure that all requests are met promptly.
">Requirements:
">- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within the medical field.
">- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
">- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
">- Proficiency in Best Practice Software and Microsoft Office.
">What We Offer:
">- Competitive hourly rate: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour.
">- Part-time position with opportunities to increase hours with weekend work and cover as required.
