Our medical centre is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Casual Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic team. This ongoing casual position offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming patients, assisting with appointment bookings, patient billing and payments, administrative support, maintenance of patient files, ordering of office and medical centre consumables, and providing support to our team of General Practitioners.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • Completion of Year 12, with relevant work experience in a medical, specialist or general health environment
  • Proven ability to process accounts for payment, perform financial reconciliations and general banking duties
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills, including the ability to display cross-cultural sensitivity
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately create and maintain records
  • Proven confident usage of Microsoft Office Suite

As this is a continuing Casual role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered. We may consider visa sponsorship in limited situations.
