Job Overview

The role involves performing electrical and communication tasks efficiently and effectively, while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform all electrical and communication tasks in a safe and productive manner.
  • Participate in productivity management processes and complete required worksheets.
  • Work in accordance with established risk management plans.
  • Report unsafe practices, hazards, incidents, or injuries immediately to the supervisor.
  • Maintain and secure provided tools and plant during breaks and at the end of each workday.
  • Provide a list of personal tools to the supervisor upon commencement or whenever changes occur.
  • Complete inspection and testing procedures and final inspection certificates.
  • Maintain up-to-date paperwork and record hours/materials for production control work packs.
  • Ensure effective communication with colleagues, leading hands, and forepersons.
  • Adhere to relevant Australian Standards and maintain current copies.
  • Pursue ongoing skills development and electrical licensing requirements.
Requirements
  • Current unrestricted electrical license recognized by state authorities.
  • ACA License.
  • Current CPR and LV rescue certificate.
  • Construction Industry General Safety Induction.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Experience in electrical commercial construction, installation, and data.
  • Well-developed time management and prioritization abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Diligence to safe work practices.
  • Reliable and punctual attendance to work.
