Job Title: Allied Health Support Professional

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Allied Health Support Professional to join our team in Melbourne. In this role, you will work closely with Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to deliver high-quality clinical care to clients in Residential Aged Care and community settings.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering therapy services as per treatment plans developed by Allied Health Professionals
  • Facilitating exercise groups and supporting one-on-one therapy sessions
  • Assisting residents to and from therapy areas and setting up therapy spaces
  • Maintaining and cleaning therapy equipment and areas
  • Supporting administrative duties including referral collection and equipment orders
  • Communicating regularly with therapists regarding client progress and treatment adjustments
  • Engaging in regular supervision, mentoring, and professional development activities

Requirements:

You will need:

  • Cert IV in Allied Health Assistance
  • A completed or partially completed degree in a health-related field
  • Driver's license and access to a car
