We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Test Engineering team as a Software Development Tester. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automated testing solutions using your knowledge of software development principles and AWS cloud services.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects, including the design and development of test automation tools and the enhancement of existing applications. As a Software Development Tester, you will be working closely with global Product Development teams in Sydney, San Diego, and Halifax to ensure that our applications meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science or a related field, with experience in programming languages such as Python or Java. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, a good understanding of cloud networking concepts, and strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automated testing solutions using software development principles and AWS cloud services.
  • Design and develop test automation tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code and best practices are followed.
  • Maintain technical skills and awareness of current state-of-the-art technical advancements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience in at least one programming language - Python, Java.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of cloud networking concepts.

Preferred Skills:

  • AWS, Terraform.
  • Container Tooling – Docker.
  • Knowledge in Machine Learning methodologies with hands-on experience, such as classifications, regressions, forecasts, and unsupervised learning.
