Job Role

The Centre is a globally recognised leader in accessible, person-centred behaviour support.

We specialise in thorough assessments and tailored plans that meet each individual's unique needs. Our expert team delivers effective programs that promote learning and growth for both NDIS participants and self-funded clients.

You will report to the Regional Clinical Manager for Tasmania and play a crucial role in conducting assessments, writing behavioural support plans and programmes, and assisting with the implementation of plans.

About The Position
  • Make positive changes to the lives of others by developing and maintaining relationships.
  • Provide direct behavioural interventions in individual and group sessions.
  • Develop Functional Behavioural Assessments and Behaviour Analysis Support Plans.
  • Provide support and training to colleagues, caregivers, and support workers on clinical techniques.
  • Partner with professionals including doctors, psychiatrists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to develop and implement individualised participant goals and checklists.
  • Adhere to legislative requirements regarding timely and accurate report writing and documentation.

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored plans that meet each individual's unique needs.
  • Deliver effective programs that promote learning and growth for both NDIS participants and self-funded clients.

Requirements

What You'll Need

  • A bachelor's degree and/or postgraduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour Support.
  • An existing NDIS Practitioner ID, NDIS Workers Screening Check, and Working with Children Check.
  • Strong professional experience in Positive Behaviour Support.
  • Demonstrated experience providing clinical expertise, supervision, and leadership in a team of Behaviour Support Practitioners.
  • Ability to prepare and finalise technical reports in a timely manner using high-level verbal and written communication skills.
