Regulatory Engagement Director, Emerging Risks and Governance

Cbus is seeking a highly experienced Regulatory Engagement Director to lead the Group Risk team in engaging with regulators and managing emerging risks.

The successful candidate will have over 10 years of experience in compliance and/or regulatory relations in an APRA or ASIC regulated industry.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing Cbus' engagement with regulators (including APRA and ASIC) to ensure accurate and timely responses to requests
  • Maintaining a proactive and transparent engagement model with regulators
  • Monitoring emerging risks, including regulatory change, and providing accurate and insightful risk and compliance reporting to the board, sub-committees and executive risk committee

To be successful, you will have highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with stakeholders at all levels of the business.

You will also have demonstrated ability to translate strategic priorities into operational reality, through delegation, managing team performance, creating accountability, and aligning systems and processes.
