About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing high-fidelity quantum systems using atomic precision silicon qubits. This role focuses on delivering a scalable, error-corrected digital quantum computer.

This opportunity is based out of our head office on the UNSW Sydney campus, where you will collaborate with leading teams to develop novel measurement techniques for atomic qubits. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing low noise, high frequency measurements of multi-qubit devices in silicon
  • Assisting in setting up, optimising, and operating experimental setups based on cryogenic dilution refrigerator
  • Designing and measuring amplification chains for large-scale rf-cryogenic measurements
  • Measuring large-qubit systems to quantify sensor performance
  • Conducting experiments, gathering, compiling, preparing, and analysing data
  • Writing and analysing code for execution and analysis of measurements
  • Undertaking analysis of project data for publication, including preparation of manuscripts
