About the RoleThe ANUM will support the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and act in their role when required, providing effective leadership and management of the Unit/Department. You will work closely with the NUM to oversee the delivery of high-quality care, ensuring optimal health outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct clinical care to patients and their families, supporting their physical and emotional needs.
- Work collaboratively with the NUM to develop and implement unit goals, objectives, and policies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of unit-based quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and professionalism.
- Participate in unit meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
- Recent Paediatric experience.
- Experience in a leadership or management role (desirable).
