Equipment Maintenance Expert

Job Role:

Our organisation seeks an Equipment Maintenance Expert to oversee product health and performance. This role plays a key part in maximising customer satisfaction and minimising downtime.

The chosen candidate will be responsible for providing trusted technical support, coordinating with internal teams, and contributing to the growth of parts and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build an understanding of customer maintenance and production plans to identify improvement opportunities
  • Provide customers with technical support and act as their single point of contact for dealer and OEM services
  • Conduct scheduled inspections to prevent premature failures and costly downtime
  • Accurately record downtime events in AMT and maintain reliable component forecasts
  • Capture commercial insights in CRM to support parts and service demand planning

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience in a customer-facing technical role
  • Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Tertiary engineering qualification, relevant trade or equivalent technical expertise
  • Strong problem-solving skills, initiative and agility in dynamic environments
  • Background in mining, mining services or heavy equipment industries
  • Solid parts product knowledge and familiarity with Caterpillar fleets
