Product Test Technician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Product Test Technician to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electromechanical Testing: Perform thorough testing of electronic and low voltage systems, products, and subassemblies to ensure they function according to specifications.
  • Test Scheduling: Interpret test schedules, documentation, performance specifications, and schematic drawings to determine the appropriate test procedures and equipment to be used.
  • Quality Inspection: Conduct quality inspections of products to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Procedure Updates: Update test procedures to maintain relevance and accuracy.

This role requires a motivated team player with excellent communication skills, who can take responsibility for their work and prioritize quality. Key qualifications include:

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Technical Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in Electrical/Electronic Assembly Work.
  • Hand Soldering Skills.
  • High-Level Troubleshooting and Diagnostic Skills.
  • Test Equipment Knowledge.
  • Able to Interpret Test Documentation and Schematic Drawings.
  • Focused Individual with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • PC Skills.
