About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lecturer to join our team at Griffith University's School of Nursing and Midwifery. As a Lecturer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, and contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field of nursing and midwifery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality teaching materials and resources that align with the University's curriculum and academic standards.
  • Contribute to the development of new programs and courses, and participate in curriculum review and renewal processes.
  • Supervise and mentor students in their academic and professional development, and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Engage in scholarly activities, such as research and publication, to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of nursing and midwifery.
  • Participate in departmental and faculty meetings, and contribute to the development of departmental and faculty policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • A doctoral or master's qualification in a relevant field, or equivalent accreditation and standing.
  • AHPRA registration as a nurse.
  • Proven experience in teaching and learning, with a strong commitment to student-centered education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • A strong commitment to the values of Griffith University, including a focus on student success, academic excellence, and community engagement.
