The School of Health Sciences and Social Work is known for innovation and excellence in health education, research and clinical practice. We offer a range of health-focussed educational programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the Gold Coast, Nathan and Logan campuses. The disciplines represented in the School are Exercise Science, Human Services, Nutrition and Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work, and Speech Pathology which includes Applied Behaviour Analysis. Each discipline comprises diverse academic staff profile with strong and productive programs of teaching and research, and a focus and commitment to developing capable and work-ready graduates.

The School has a strong research focus, with academic staff from diverse disciplinary backgrounds skilled in areas of domestic and family violence, child protection and well-being, mental health and disability, environmental justice, international and community practice, exercise and sport, and rehabilitation and a range of associated areas of interest.

We are currently recruiting for either a level A- Associate Lecturer or a level B- Lecturer in Applied Behaviour Analysis that possesses a strong commitment to evidence-based positive behaviour support, education, and research and potentially other areas. Applied Behaviour Analysis at Griffith University adopts a contemporary view of the profession in the Australian context and enables students to become evidence-based and client centred in their implementation of applied behaviour analysis principles across a range of career options in current, emerging, and future settings and roles to enhance the well-being of individuals, families, and communities.

In addition to delivering high-quality entry-level education, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to build a research and publication profile in partnership with internal and external collaborators.

**Salary Range**
The base salary for an Associate Lecturer (Level A) is in the range $76,503 - $102,880per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation. The total package is in the range $123,018 - $146,088 per annum.

The base salary for Lecturer (Level B) is in the range $105,144 - $124,862 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation. The total package is in the range $89,508 - $120,369per annum.

**Qualifications**

Dependant on the level, you may also be required to possess a research doctorate in applied behaviour analysis or be committed to completing a research doctorate with the desire to be research active through the development of a growing publication and funding profile. You will have experience in teaching and/or research, preferably in the higher education sector and having the ability to teach into other programs/courses in the school would be highly regarded.
