Key Job Summary

This is an ongoing full-time position for a skilled leader to oversee and guide our Technologies Department. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to foster positive relationships with staff, motivate them to achieve excellence, and take responsibility for curriculum development and implementation.

About the Role

The Technologies Leader will report directly to the Deputy Principal and be accountable for overseeing both Design Technologies and Digital Technologies. They will also be expected to demonstrate expertise in operational management and strategic planning.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the Technologies Department and encourage staff to consistently pursue excellence
  • Foster constructive and professional relationships with the Technologies team
  • Take ownership of curriculum leadership and demonstrate expertise in operational management and strategic planning
Essential Requirements
  • A visionary leader who can articulate a future-focused vision for learning in Technologies
  • An individual who can develop meaningful and positive working relationships with all staff within the Technologies Department
  • A person who can provide open and clear communication with staff and students and ensure expectations are established and followed

The ideal applicant must fully support and uphold the objectives and ethos of Catholic education. Additionally, they are required to provide evidence of a current Working with Children Check and a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check prior to appointment.
