Procurement Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to join our team as a Senior Procurement Officer.

This role will be responsible for managing the purchasing, expediting, and logistics of allocated projects. Key responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and monitoring activities related to tender evaluation, purchase orders, and vendor management.

  • Develop and maintain effective procurement strategies to secure optimal prices and deliveries for project requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate contracts and agreements.
  • Analyze commercial data and quotations to select suitable suppliers.
  • Implement and monitor procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of project outcomes.
  • Review and verify order details against original tender requests and client-approved changes.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in procurement, expediting, and/or logistics disciplines, preferably within the engineering or construction industries.

  • Demonstrated expertise in computerized purchasing and logistics systems.
  • Strong knowledge of international and local tendering practices.
  • High-level negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to achieve high standards within budgetary and schedule constraints.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
