Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Partners in delivering accounting services, including tax compliance, client advisory, preparation of income tax returns, financial statements, business activity statements (BAS), and instalment activity statements (IAS)\
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders\
  • Utilise critical thinking and problem-solving skills to drive business outcomes\
  • Develop and maintain strong IT skills, with a willingness to learn new technologies\
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives\
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes\
  • Deliver high-quality work products that meet or exceed client expectations\\

Requirements

  • \
  • A tertiary qualification in a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) or Bachelor of Commerce\
  • Previous experience in a similar tax accountant role\
  • Eligibility for, or current completion of, a CA or CPA qualification\
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders\
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills\
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills\
  • Strong IT skills, with a willingness to learn new technologies\\
