Hume City Council is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Instructors to work in centres within the municipality.
As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will lead participants through engaging, safe, and stimulating group fitness classes while maintaining the guidelines of the specific class type.
Your ability to coach, engage, and motivate participants will be highly valuable.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead group fitness classes, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for participants.
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive class environment.
- Communicate effectively with participants, providing clear instructions and feedback.
- Ensure all equipment is used and stored properly.
- Monitor participants' safety and well-being during classes.
- Appropriate qualification certificates, including Certificate III Fitness and relevant certifications.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Employee Working with Children's Check.
- Demonstrated experience in providing group fitness classes, with a practical demonstration of instruction skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
