Graduate Speech Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Graduate Speech Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to further develop your knowledge and skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Our 12-month Graduate PLUS program is designed to provide you with the necessary tools and support to succeed in your role. You will be paired with an experienced Clinical Supervisor who will assist you in client sessions for your first 12 months on a regular basis to facilitate your learning and knowledge on individual presentations.

You will also have access to quarterly professional development with our team of Speech Pathologists across the organisation, as well as monthly coaching from our Clinic mentors to help you achieve your career goals.

In addition, you will be allocated a buddy to support you through your induction and beyond, and will receive weekly clinical 1:1 supervision in a safe and supportive environment from an experienced Speech Pathologist for your initial 4 months progressing to fortnightly and monthly as you develop your skills.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients and presentations, and will be supported by our dedicated administrative and IT team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality speech pathology services to clients in a variety of settings
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes for clients
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to meet the needs of clients
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and goals
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Registration as a Speech Pathologist with SPA or eligibility to obtain
  • Degree in Speech Pathology
  • Current driver's licence
  • Police check and Working with Children check (or ability to obtain these before commencing work)
