Production Supervisor

This role oversees daily plant operations, encompassing production, quality assurance, maintenance, and inventory management. The focus lies in implementing strategic plans and standard operating practices to ensure precision, efficiency, and high return on assets.
The Plant Manager must develop and apply sound manufacturing principles, emphasizing lean processes that minimize costs through effective labor, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital utilization. They must also ensure top-quality standards, maintain a safe working environment, and promptly investigate and implement corrective actions.
A key aspect of this position is timely and accurate communication with various stakeholders, including the Director of Operations, Sales, Logistics, Technical Services, Human Resources, and other senior managers within the organization.
- Assist in creating and implementing a strategic vision to boost production, quality, and labor optimization.
- Provide leadership to ensure plant personnel and equipment are used effectively.
- Require a high level of detail orientation and rapid response for communication of job status, quality, scheduling, shipping, and customer satisfaction.
- Take overall responsibility for all processes, equipment, employee safety, and housekeeping to meet performance goals related to safety, waste reduction, quality, and productivity.
