Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Geologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting surveys, investigating geological formations, and performing scientific investigations and testing.

  • Conduct survey analysis on the behavior and mechanics of soil and rock when placed under pressure by proposed structures.
  • Investigate geological formations and ground behavior and conduct scientific investigations and testing to understand the impact of these formations on the design and construction of geotechnical and tunnel projects.
  • Conduct studies of the structure, nature and formation of the earth's crust to inform against geotechnical and civil engineering design.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary degree in Geology or Engineering Geology, or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 2 years' experience performing a similar role.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
