We are seeking an experienced Cyber Risk Specialist to join our team in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney.

About the Role

This is a high-profile opportunity for a skilled professional to deliver strategic advice and implementation support to organisations navigating complex cyber resilience, compliance and crisis response challenges.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert guidance on cyber security risks, concepts, frameworks and practices, and communicating complex risk concepts in plain language to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing thought leadership on cyber risk management and strategy development;
  • Delivering high-quality work products within tight deadlines;
  • Fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders;
  • Developing and implementing effective solutions to complex risk management problems;

This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity and/or technology risk management, ideally within a consulting environment. Alternatively, candidates may have a background in business continuity, emergency, or crisis management with a cyber or technology focus.

Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently under pressure.

In addition to technical expertise, we seek individuals who can bring innovative thinking and a commercial mindset to the role.

A strong network of professional relationships and experience in business development would be highly advantageous.
