Austin Health is dedicated to delivering high-quality care in mental health. Our specialist eating disorder service excels in research, teaching and evidence-based practice.
As a Mental Health Clinician in our Adult & Older Adults team, you will work within a community mental health team to enhance care provision for people living with eating disorders. You will help build our Specialist Eating Disorder Service, deliver assessments and interventions, and collaborate with multiple teams across the division.
Our ideal candidate will bring their expertise to our multidisciplinary team to make a difference. They will provide a specialist eating disorder lens to our clients, assess and treat them, liaising with family members and caregivers as appropriate.
The successful professional will possess excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to excellence in patient care, and a keen interest in developing their skillset. They will have experience and skills in delivering assessment and treatment of eating disorders, minimum 5 years' experience in a relevant mental health setting, including eating disorder inpatient experience, and demonstrated knowledge of recovery and collaborative clinical practice.
