RF Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced RF Modelling Engineer to join our team. As an R&D Modelling Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering outcomes on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define RF system requirements and contribute to design and test planning through system-level reviews
  • Design, optimise, and analyse RF system solutions, ensuring performance and compliance with requirements
  • Translate designs into manufacturable products, considering cost, production, and support requirements
  • Manage integration, testing, and full qualification of complex RF systems, solving design and validation challenges
  • Use design and simulation tools to develop and validate high-quality solutions, including detailed analysis and test interpretation
  • Support engineering management through defect resolution, equipment changes, and continuous improvement activities
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a technical interface and maintaining strong supplier relationships
Requirements
  • Proven experience in RF/E3 engineering within maritime/defence sector
  • Experience in developing RF/E3 equipment designs, design analyses
  • Experience in design reviews, system integration, validation, and qualification testing
  • Experience supporting delivery and through-life support of RF/E3 systems
  • Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to produce clear, concise technical documentation
  • Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
  • Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
