Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Risk Management Specialist to join our team at TPG Telecom. As a key member of our procurement function, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our commitment to effectively managing third-party risk while driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of the supply chain risk management and governance strategy for TPG Telecom suppliers.
  • Ensure existing and new third parties are managed in line with the Third-Party Risk and Governance policies, standards, and frameworks.
  • Ensure risk assessments for existing third parties are maintained and refreshed on a regular basis in line with the Third-Party Risk Framework.
  • Ensure new risks or changes to risks arising out of procurement activities are identified and appropriately managed.
  • Support supplier due diligence activities by collaborating with risk SMEs and assessing the materiality of any identified risks.
  • Develop and maintain supplier quality assurance programs as appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain fit-for-purpose third-party risk systems and processes as well as integration with other procurement lifecycle systems.
  • Prepare appropriate third-party risk reporting for senior management.
  • Collaborate with other functions including Enterprise Risk, Compliance, WHS, Technology Security to continuously improve the third-party risk management framework and processes.

Requirements

  • Commercial Degree qualified or equivalent in a related field.
  • Proven experience in risk management and relevant supporting tools with a strong understanding of procurement-related risks and experience in implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Professional certifications related to risk management are highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of third-party risk principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, including sourcing, category management, supplier relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Initiative-taking and results-driven mindset, with a commitment to driving continuous improvement.
