Your Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Construction Crew Member to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in the construction and maintenance of our wetland projects. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing soil, laying jute, and planting plants, as well as conducting maintenance of remnant native bushland, constructed wetlands, and newly built native landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare soil and lay jute for wetland construction
- Plant plants and conduct maintenance of remnant native bushland, constructed wetlands, and newly built native landscapes
- Work in a team setting to ensure effective communication and task completion
- Contribute to the construction and maintenance of native wetlands throughout the Melbourne region
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a motivating attitude, be keen to help your crew members, site supervisors, and project managers, and be able to work in a team setting. You will also need to be able to flourish in occasionally challenging weather conditions.
