Job Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare fresh ingredients according to recipes and menus.
  • Portion, chop, and store food before use.
  • Cook high-quality menu items in a timely manner.
  • Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of surfaces and storage containers.
  • Delegate tasks within the department and run shifts efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a 4-5 star hotel kitchen.
  • Trade qualification is required.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
