Mine Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Mine Surveyor to join our team at MMG's Rosebery Mine. As a key member of our Mine Technical Services team, you will be responsible for providing spatial information services in a safe and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure daily survey duties are performed to a high standard and in a timely manner to support mine operational activities.
- Assist with completing month-end measurements and reports as per business requirements.
- Ensure all underground voids are captured electronically and added to relevant files.
- Provide spatial information required by operations to conform to mine designs in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in planning and executing check surveys.
- Track daily development firings, pick-ups, and laser checks.
- Assist in maintaining systems and records of survey information.
- Actively participate in discussions with the Mine Technical Services team to support and promote agreed decisions.
- Maintain, build, and enhance interdepartmental relationships and communication.
- Assist in producing a monthly mining overbreak report for all horizontal development.

About MMG RoseberyRosebery is an underground polymetallic base metal mine located in the township of Rosebery in Tasmania, Australia. The Rosebery Mine has been at the heart of the Rosebery community since 1936 and is one of Tasmania's largest and oldest continuously operating underground mines producing zinc, copper, and lead concentrates, as well as gold doré.
