About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mine Surveyor to join our Mine Technical Services team at MMG's Rosebery Mine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily survey duties to a high standard and in a timely manner to ensure mine operational activities.
  • Assist with completing month-end measurements and reports as per business requirements.
  • Ensure all underground voids are captured electronically and added to relevant files.
  • Provide spatial information required by operations to conform to mine designs in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate and assist in planning and executing check surveys.
  • Track daily development firings, pick-ups, and laser checks.
  • Assist in maintaining systems and records of survey information.
  • Actively participate in discussions with the Mine Technical Services team to support and promote agreed decisions.
  • Maintain, build, and enhance interdepartmental relationships and communication.
  • Assist in producing a monthly mining overbreak report for all horizontal development.
