We are seeking a skilled lawyer with 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience to join our Restructuring and Bankruptcy team in Sydney. This role offers the opportunity to work on a range of matters, including liability management exercises, out-of-court and in-court restructurings, new money capital raises, exchange offers and debt exchanges, acquisitions of distressed companies and assets, equity-linked transactions, insolvencies, rescue financings, and litigation risk assessments and mitigation.

The successful candidate will have the chance to collaborate with other departments in an interdisciplinary way, working on intellectually exciting matters. They will also have access to national and international secondment programmes, dedicated local and global training programmes, and professional training on communication, IT skills, management and business development skills.

To be successful in this role, you will need outstanding academic credentials, high-level drafting and analytic skills, and be a resilient self-starter with intellectual curiosity and versatility. You should also be a highly motivated team player with excellent organisational skills, clear and concise communication skills, and a good eye for detail.
