Job Title: Early Childhood Support Practitioner / Positive Behaviour Support

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Early Childhood Support Practitioner to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will work with children and their families to develop and implement strategies to improve their quality of life.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have experience working with paediatric clients and a true passion for delivering high-quality clinical services. You will be responsible for developing and prioritising goals using a routines-based approach, providing evidence-based support to address children's needs across all areas of development, and coordinating support from other disciplines as needed.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with families and colleagues.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with families and children to develop and prioritise their goals using a routines-based approach
  • Provide evidence-based support to address children's needs across all areas of development
  • Coordinate support from other disciplines as needed
  • Liaise with allied health practitioners, support workers and family members to achieve the best possible outcomes for your clients
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Considerable experience working with paediatric clients
  • A true passion for delivering high-quality clinical services
  • One of the following qualifications and industry registrations:
    • Developmental Educator – current full membership with Developmental Educators Australia Inc.
    • Early Childhood Teacher or Educator – current registration or accreditation with the relevant professional body
    • Occupational Therapist – current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Registration
    • Social Worker – membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
    • Speech Pathologist – Certified Practising Speech Pathologist as approved by Speech Pathology Australia
    • Psychologist – current AHPRA Registration
