Denison College of Secondary Education, a regional NSW institution, is seeking an experienced and innovative teacher to join their Bathurst High Campus team.

About the Role

As a Teacher Industrial Technology - Metal specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in industrial technology and metal classes to students in Years 7-8. You will plan and manage workshops and resources effectively to promote high-impact teaching and learning, and have comprehensive knowledge of the Technological & Applied Studies syllabus areas.

The ideal candidate will have approval to teach ITX - Technology Mandatory (Years 7-8) and ITM - Industrial Technology-Metal, and be committed to improving outcomes for Aboriginal students. They will also be prepared to undertake VET teacher training in VEG – Metal and Engineering providing the qualification entry benchmark is met.

Bathurst High Campus forms part of Denison College of Secondary Education's innovative college structure with Kelso High Campus. The school has a distinctive range of programs that promote creative, cultural and sporting excellence. The band program cultivates student musical talent from primary school years through various band styles, up to the award-winning 'Swing Factor' collaboration.
